"The location is nearby many restaurants and shops. The units are basic, but have what you need. Unit was very clean. The noise from adjacent units is clear. When the cleaners were in the unit above it was very loud. The stairs from the sidewalk to entry door are fairly steep with narrow steps. There is a narrow curving staircase to reach second floor units. Typical old apartment building issues, but travelers with mobility concerns may struggle carrying bags up and down the stairs. "

"It was a clean room and it had everything I needed. It was also close to the metro station and bus stops which made it even better! It was a cozy place and it was exactly as the posts! Would definitely recommend this place!"

"The property has an over, microwave, dishwasher and a full fridge, which is rare to find at this price. The host responded to my messages promptly. The only issue I found was that there is little noise insulation, so the noise could comes in from outside and the hallway. But overall, excellent value for the money and well designed property in and out."

"Beautiful boutique hotel. Renovated and immaculate. Staff very attentive and welcoming. Hotel restaurant is traditional Ethiopian which was an experience in and of itself. Would definitely return and book directly through the hotel."

"100% a place I’d go back to we brought our own blankets they spread them out on the bed for us when they cleaned the room, staying away from home can be daunting so the hotel staff being as friendly and accommodating and just doing the small things really helps. "

"Rooms have modern amenities, but use of space could be improved. My room had a large empty space that could have been a nice sitting area or kitchenette. The terrace was nice, but the furniture outside was in poor condition (broken table, sofa cushions stained and dirty.) A few other oddities: our room was right above the restaurant which made for a very loud and late night on the weekend. There was an ice bucket in the room, but no ice machines."

"I highly recommend this hotel. The staff is welcoming and friendly. Steps away from Notre Dame and far enough away from noisy nightlife so you can sleep, but close enough to enjoy. If coming to Montreal for fun, stay in / near old Montreal. "

"Fantastic hotel and spa"

"Very dirty place. My bed had a bunch of long hair. In the dresser someone left their socks no one bothered to remove. Shower drain was clogged I had to stand in a pool of gross water. Big cracks under the door you will hear everything all night as people walking by, slamming doors… room has no air conditioning therefore it was very hot. The manager of the hotel was very nice but managing cleanliness is a huge flaw."

"Très belle chambre avec du cachet (mur de brique, volets en bois naturel aux fenêtres). Propre, bien aménagé et entretenu. Literie confortable. Tranquille (côté cours) même si c’est situé au cœur de l’action en plein dans le Quartier Latin… tout se fait à pied… café, resto, terrasses, bar, bistro… À quelques pas de la station d’autobus centrale. "

"The main reason I booked here was location in old Montreal. Walking distance to the Basilica. However, there is no elevator and the stairs are very narrow and dark. The area is very loud and early in the morning the noise always woke us up. I would not recommend this to anyone."

"Housekeeping was not great. At 8:15 they woke us by vacuuming right outside our door even though we had "Do Not Disturb" sign up. Additionally we got back to our room after a long day walking around and found they had not made up the room. We had to call and wait 40 minutes for someone to come up when I would have rather been napping. When we went up to the pool it was filled with about 5 large families. Too crowded for my wife and I to relax without being splashed by children jumping into...

"Our air conditioner was not working because outlet next to it was broken. I also wish the limited parking had been better communicated but they did give us a map showing some nearby garages. Location was excellent and we really really enjoyed the indoor pool."
