"The Chaarya Resort and Spa is a gorgeous hotel set in a beautiful palm tree lined property. They have a very refreshing pool, a cool outdoor bar, pool table, games area, gym and spa facilities. The grounds are absolutely immaculate, they have multiple gardeners working the lawns all the time. The hotel consists of multiple 1 or 2 story buildings meaning that its private and quiet. "had a short stay at kithala and we were given a very warm welcome by the front office team .. they make you feel at home and invited us to light the Oil Lamp which is a symbol of respect ..it was very special ..wish we had stayed for few more days !! "

"A special place close to Yala that makes you feel like you’re in the park. Small staff was so friendly and lovely, and I felt well taken care of. Delicious meals—often candlelit and with an outdoor grill. Room was air conditioned and well appointed, despite the jungle setting. Only caution: there probably will be some wildlife in your bathroom! They also organized my safaris in the park, as well as pick ups and drop-offs, which I appreciated."

"Wonderful hotel in a great location close to lake and ocean. We stayed in a jungle chalet which was spacious and well equipped. Staff constantly patrolling the area so very safe. We booked full board and all the meals were delicious and great variety. Danushka served us at dinner and breakfast and was charming and very attentive. "
