Worst experience in 15 years of travelling

By far after 15 years of travelling in Europe, this is the worst hostel we have stayed. Pros: clean & centrally located. Cons: curtains missing requested and ignored. mattress is sunking. Photos shows mini fridge and microwave but missing blame Hotels.com using outdated photos. Hotels.com says it’s not in the description. water will leak when shower. The whole floor of the apartments are cramp and cheaply made. smell of sewage occasionally I will absolutely not coming back even if the owner offer discount what a horrible experience.

Received a different room to what i ordered. The management said it was Expedia's fault but there was nothing Expedia could do. This is a scam company who knows how to abuse the system and get away with it. AVOID AT ALL COSTS, because most likely you will not get your room and lose your money.

It took me 30 minutes to get someone to answer the door. It seems that location does not accept any tourists anymore. I had to book another hotel and lost the money I paid for that place. You should investigate that place.

In my years of traveling, I have never stayed at a place like this. Beyond bad customer service. False advertisement. Smelled of cigarette and no one to help you on the weekend. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE. AVOID THIS PLACE

Service desk in another MYD location let us leave our luggage until check in. Entering the building and the room was always difficult due to door malfunction. Find out that the property has not ac was terrible. They said the building manage the temp -not true. We only had a fan to bear 94•F

Read this one! It's a gem!!

After reading the dismal reviews I was a little apprehensive. I can assure you that this place is a great little place to stay. Good location, quiet, refurbed, clean. Only downsides I can think of are no curtain in room so no alarm clock for me...nature's alarm clock made sure I was up and at em at 7am ☀️☀️, the shower bracket was a bit dodgy but managed to get a workable angle to get clean. The cleaner was super friendly and the check in process( although unconventional) was relatively straightforward if you follow the rules. To stay in the centre of Madrid for 30euros a night? With a private bathroom? It's a no brainer! Thanks for a great stay

We like their location for: Convenient, cleanliness and safe because it is next to city policy station. But the room is small like a bird cage, only 1 pillow for 2 people, and warning for the first time foreigners (non-Spanish speaking) in Madrid like us: You should be prepared to deal with non-English people :(. It took us 2 hrs for looking, waiting and dealing with the building and meet the registration guy. They post a phone number on the door and ask you to do online check in but my phone could not contact them and and internet network is slow like s.ht. Do not book this property if you visit Madrid on the 1st time and have no Spanish speaking experiences.

UN FRAUDE, NO OS ALOJÉIS. Llegamos y las habitaciones que reservamos y pagamos estaban abiertas y sucias. Intentamos ponernos en contacto con el alojamiento por teléfono repetidamente y nadie nos contestó, ni siquiera al WhatsApp. Tuvimos que reservar otras dos habitaciones en un nuevo alojamiento porque no pudimos hospedarnos. No se hacen cargo ni responden a los emails enviados. EXPERIENCIA NEFASTA Y UN ABSOLUTO TIMO.

En primer lugar, en las fotografías del anuncio se indicaba que la habitación disponía de microondas y frigorífico (por eso llevamos comida para guardarla allí, lo que acabó estropeándose toda). Hablé con el personal y me dijeron que esa información era mentira, cuando aparece claramente en las fotos de la habitación elegida. En segundo lugar, el baño tenía un olor horrible e insoportable. Además, había bichos en la ducha. Y cuando nos duchábamos, el agua salía con espuma por la tapa del desagüe. Incluso tuvimos que comprar velas para poder soportar el olor del baño. Por último, la cama, además de ser súper incómoda (está muy hundida en el centro), si nos sentábamos en el borde para vestirnos, la cama se volcaba hacia el otro lado. Ah, y las sábanas estaban llenas de bolitas. El único punto positivo es realmente la ubicación.

La estancia mas horrible en todos mis viajes, se corto la luz a las 22h de la noche y como no tienen recepción física, mandé un wathssap para averiguar lo que ha ocurrido y me contestaron que el corte de la luz está a nivel toda la finca y era mentira porque sumando de la ventana había luz en toda la finca, pase la noche con una linterna. No hay agua caliente y en la habitación huele mal. En total es un sitio de estafa.

HABITACIONES SIN AIRE ACONDICIONADO

Tuve constantes problemas para acceder al alojamiento así como a la habitación que se me asignó. El acceso al recinto era con código y el sistema de apertura fallaba una y otra vez. En la reserva ponía que la habitación tenía aire acondicionado pero el único aire que había era el de un ventilador de cortesía. El calor era tan insoportable que no pude pegar ojo en toda la noche. La habitación no disponía de cortina, motivo este por el que si subías la persiana para que entrase el aire te veían los vecinos de en frente. Fatal.
