Lovely little hotel in an extremely convenient location. Itā€™s bustling only a short distance away, but peaceful inside the hotel. Walking distance from all the key sites. Rooms are a really good size and bathrooms are surprisingly large. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

Great location, easy access to Calle Baja and Plaza del Sol. Smaller, no real frills hotel, but since we werenā€™t spending much time it suited our needs perfectly. Clean, quiet, noon check out was appreciated after late nights out in Madrid.

Walkable to many sites I wanted to see such as Plaza Mayor, Prado Museum, Puerta de AlcalĆ”, Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, Parque del Retiro, other museums, food, and plenty shopping. I would recumbent to go here during winter months. It was hot and humid.

Very disappointing. Lost money bc we cut our stay short by 2 days as the room was dilapidated. Nothing like the online pics. Baseboards falling off. Exposed nails. Light flickering all day. Wifi sporadic. AC barely worked. Hall carpet smelled. Ongoing construction in front so no car access. Had to wheel our luggage half a block to get a taxi. On the flip side, the front desk staff were very pleasant, understanding, and helpful. They get 5 stars. The property? Barely one star.
