"The concierge staff and housekeeping staff were exceptional. However, when we attempted to eat at the Juliett restaurant, we sat at our table for 20 or 25 minutes without even being offered a glass of water. As a result, we looked for meals outside of the hotel, which we would not have done otherwise."

"The Astoria Hotel was really, really good! My room was amazing, with a beautiful view and huge windows. The staff was very nice, and the breakfast was really complete, with eggs, fruit, coffee, cereal, pancakes, and more. The location was also amazing—within walking distance of the train station and all the main attractions. My only recommendation would be to have heated bathrooms, as the bathroom was quite large and felt really cold. Overall, I totally recommend this place! I really enjoyed my stay."

"We had an excellent view over the lake and to Mount Pilatus. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The room was small but had all we needed. We could walk to town easily."

"Hotel location is perfect at the old town area. Train station is about a 10-15 mins walk away. We took a cab when we checked in but it’s definitely walkable if you don’t have much baggage. The rooms are of a very decent size and are pretty well maintained too, only thing I can complain is the toilet size as I could only open and close the toilet door halfway without knocking on the toilet bowl."

"This is a charming setting if not in the center of the old town. You cannot beat the views. The staff at the front desk were helpful. One even printed out our train tickets and delivered them to us in the bar."
