"Called for one while exploring the Somerset Levels. Perfect location for managed to book the last room, this was the largest of all the rooms available comfortable, clean & very spacious. The propriter was very welcoming on arrival and made us tea to take in the rear."

"Our room number 14, was outside and up a very creaky staircase. The double doors to the room were mostly glass with a curtain to pull inside. The floor to the left sunk as you walked on it, it felt like just the carpet was stopping you from falling through. When I mentioned this to the girl on reception, she said the building was listed so hard to do work! THIS IS A HAZARD! The bed was comfortable, Wi-Fi very sketchy and poor. The courtyard to walk to the room was dirty and had dirty ashtrays on...

"Attending a wedding there. Stayed there for 3 days. Room was clean. Staff were excellent. Good breakfast unfortunately, the room had no air conditioning being downstairs. You had to be careful about leaving the window open, would we stay there again? Yes"

"Really nice place with a lovely view. The rooms were large and clean and the AC was a bonus. The staff were great and very happy. I think the only thing was the limited dinner menu which was mostly deep fried frozen meals otherwise I’d have booked elsewhere for food."

"A 3-star hotel / bed-and-breakfast - very personal, friendly service. The hotel is visited daily by locals buying newspapers. All meals cooked to order, including breakfast - a nice change to the usual experience in hotels nowadays. We turned up at about 4.30pm to find opening time was 5pm - we must have missed this in the instructions. The hotel was open promptly at 5 pm however. On the Sunday the bar closed at 5pm so dinner had to be elsewhere - not a problem for us as we always tend to have...

"The Manor Inn is pretty much perfect! The pub itself is beautiful with many original and historic features. In contrast, the rooms have many modern features such as aircon which made my stay very comfortable. The pub garden is beautiful, breakfast is well organised and the staff are helpful."
