Check it was easy and counter staff was polite.the hotel is a bit outdated but was comfortable enough and the price was reasonable. The location is centrally located for the downtown area.

Overall, fine place to stay. It’s an older building. No frills. Breakfast was good..eggs, bacon and biscuit. Made for you when you arrive. No menu or other choices. Hotel is located in the downtown area of old Louisville. Easy to get to all parts of the city. Parking was easy.

Know what you are getting into

This hotel is also low-income housing for locals. Bad side of town. Dangerous parking. Outdated rooms. Staff were pleasant - and the breakfast was edible (you are given a plate of food, no choices)

The Building is very old. Traditional Furniture & Decor. My Room was quiet & comfortable. The Room had a Mini Fridge, Microwave & Coffee Maker. I didn’t have Breakfast which is complimentary. Downtown attractions are walkable & just minutes away from the property

The picture in the listing seem to be old. Definitely could use an overhaul. We got stained towels one night, but did have good hot water. Overall staff was nice and it served the purpose of a place to sleep for a few hours. I would probably stay again

I think the property is doing a lot of good things for the community, And once I was there and experienced what they were doing everything felt safe and accounted for, however it was a bit of a surprise upon arrival. And I am rather open minded regarding homeless folks. I don't know that others would feel safe.

Loved my stay at Hotel Louisville. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The building and décor are dated, but everything is clean. Location is fantastic, walkable distance into the CBD and on the Number 2 bus line straight from the airport.

This is gonna be an honest review. Yes it is a halfway home, does that bother me? No. The tenants of the halfway home were like any other guest at a hotel. You don't bother them, they don't bother you. No druggies or sketchy people or anything like that. Staff was nice and helpful. Lobby kind of smelled a little funky but that's not a huge deal. Room was clean and everything worked. Nice big king size bed. Totilet and shower were clean and worked well. Breakfast was made fresh to order and they had huge donuts that you could grab alongside them. I have seen people comparing about it being a halfway home but from my expereince of staying for 5 days, that's not a problem at all. Overall good stay for the price.

This is an older hotel that a Christian organization is using to provide housing for individuals while they get their lives back together. As a paying guest you will be on a floor with other paying guests, not the residents. But, you will encounter the residents as you come and go. Everyone we met was very courteous, very friendly and at no time were we (me, my wife, my son in law, my daughter and their two infant boys) worried about our safety. At first we were a little hesitant, but quickly grew to appreciate the effort to get these individuals back into society, and we were actually happy we could do something to help them be sucessful.

This hotel has everything, dance hall, cafe and more. The check out was later than usual and I loved it. Was able to enjoy your stay just a bit longer than other hotels. Was quiet and clean and very Christian oriented. I'll definitely be coming back.

I liked that it was only 4 minutes away from U of L Hospital which was very convenient for downtown Louisville area. McDonald was right across the road with a few another fast food in walking distance. The staff were very kind and friendly. The room was clean but needed some updates like USB ports for phone chargers. They offer hospital stay discounts but didn’t find out until we got there so will definitely be staying again.

Clean rooms, nice staff. Have stayed several times. They had free breakfast, lunch & dinner for anyone on Christmas day! Lovely community thought! Surrounding area quiet but sketchy.
