There is nothing on the Expedia listing to indicate children are not allowed on property. We were told to leave and unable to use our reservation. The manager on duty agreed to refund our reservation, however there is no process for doing that through Expedia after the reservation has passed.

Nice clean hotel with comfortable beds. The casino was nice and getting their players club cards gave us some free play money ($45 between the two of us) that we won about $80 with so I can’t complain! I have to say that the later evening dining options aren’t great, but I’ve noticed that a lot of the casinos don’t seem to have their restaurants open earlier in the week, or very late anymore.

Our room was really nice and very clean!! The shower had complementary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash and the bathroom was a nice size not small and cramped. The bedroom space was also nice with space as you come in the door. Even the hallways had a nice clean smell to them and everything was great complementary coffee was served at the front desk. I totally appreciated that too.! We will definitely stay here again.

I stayed at Caesar’s for two nights and Derby City for two nights. There is no comparison. Derby City staff made me feel welcome. They were professional, helpful and cheerful. Even the cleaning staff were friendly. I gambled and lost at both locations. So no sour grapes to sway my opinion in either direction in favor of one or the other. Derby City is as close as you can come to a high end property on the strip in Vegas.

We enjoyed our stay. We stayed two nights. Our room was spacious and clean. We did have to request towels as we did not receive housekeeping services (not sure if that's the norm - it was fine as we were going to set out a do not disturb sign but forgot). The shower is nice but got water all over the floor, not a big deal for us but others might be annoyed. Beds were comfortable and nice big pillows. We would stay here again.
