"Everything was great only complaint was ole Paul Blair in the parking lot yelling at the woman for parking the car even after saying her husband was going to park the car for her so she could check in. Which he was getting out of the car. I would say yall need to find a better way to manage the lot instead of letting ole cookie cop yell at folks and cause a scene for no reason. He had just checked in and almost checked out. Nobody wants to hear that crap. Everything else was smooth sailing and nice place for a family with kids. No bugs and clean"

"Rooms where very clean and the property was as well. Breakfast could have been better. Nothing was hot, and the bacon was gone before we got to the buffet area. ( 20 mins) This should probably be handed out, instead of allowing people to take a plate."

"We didn't have any problems with our stay. Our room itself was clean. Even though the building is older, and the room showed signs of wear and tear, it didn't feel dirty inside. The staff at check in/check out were super friendly. We didn't use the pool because the smell of weed was too strong. We also couldn't sit out on our balcony for the same reason. Parking was a challenge one of the nights, we couldn't park in the garage, but thankfully we were able to find a nearby spot. The price was excellent. The location right on the beach was great. If you are just using the hotel to basically sleep and go to the beach, this is truly an affordable option. However, if you are planning on using it for the amenities, (pools) I would be prepared for the strong smell of cigarettes and weed. Overall, an "okay" stay, just not sure we would stay again."

Westgate Myrtle Beach Oceanfront Resort

"Stunning oceanfront view from balcony and comfortable bed. Very small room with a tiny bathroom. Noisy. Be aware when you're directed to pick up parking pass, timeshare pitch. I complained but there was nothing that the resort can, so we made the best of it. No breakfast offered, free or paid. The area where we thought was for breakfast was for timeshare presentations. Parking garage in separate adjacent building making it inconvenient. Park in front Parking lot, but good luck getting a spot."

"i paid for ocean view but it was over the “roof” below our floor so it was tiny and awkward… you couldn’t really even see the ocean well… so that was disappointing. Front staff was as helpful as possible bit they were swamped every time we went over. the parking garage is a NO GO and a reason i wouldn’t stay again. my escalade had inches on each side doing up and down it was stressful"
