Graves in Croydon Cemetery This is the Mitcham Road Cemetery, and I was struck by the design and size of the grave in the foreground, which bears the inscription "Family Vault of James Bridger". Some internet research suggests that James Bridger was a local landowner.

The check-in is a little weird having 2 receptionists in a self-check-in place. Also my booking was cancelled with no notice, but they did reinstate it - fortunately. The hotel and room is central and low cost - it had all you really need. No frills.
