"The Ronebhal Guest House was amazing from the view out our room window to the wonderful shower!! There were many special touches too, like bathrobes and snacks. We even saw seals and otters out the window while enjoying a little scotch and were able to sleep so well!! Additionally, the owners were so sweet!! We would definitely stay there anytime we are in the area!!"

"Had a lovely 1 night stay at Blair Villa. It is a cute little b&b style hotel that is located up a small hill, a couple minutes walk away from Oban town centre. "I was very disappointed with the facilities provided by the hotel to its paid guests. Occupants were not allowed to use the sauna and needed to book well in advance, and it's closed at 5pm, and if you are free in the evening, you don't have access to it. Also, it only allows you a 30-minute slot."

As my Wife has a heart condition and is awaiting surgery this was unsuitable. we were informed that Expedia had been informed of the lack of a lift and that they (Expedia) should have advised us of this fact before we arrived. "Both elevators were out at one point, the staff couldn’t check me in even minutes earlier than the 3pm guideline,and the whole ‘meal thing’ felt weird about inclusions or exclusions. Pay to park (but only 10 pounds) for two nights - but still…great location for rail or ferry, but the staff couldn’t check use an upgrade. PS. Why are the damn hallways so narrow to your room? I could barely get by a maids cart…seems like the fire regulations would be wider. Narrowest I have ever seen in any hotel....
