"A great place to stay from the friendly hosts to the comfortable room. The treats in the room to the snacks to purchase. The fridge to keep our drinks cold and the wonderful breakfast hamper. Everything showed how much thought had gone into making our stay the best it could be. There was also a parking spot for every room. We will tell all our friends and family about this lovely idyll."

"We so enjoyed our stay at Blarcreen House. David and Deirdre were very welcoming and very helpful. They directed us to a great parking place in Oban for when we went on a three island tour. They encouraged us to explore the area right around the house. We even made friends with the cats and the cows. And their breakfast service was so very elegant and tasty."

"The hotel is lovely, very tastefully renovated, the bedroom we stayed in (Uist) was extremely comfortable with a proper sized TV. The tea/coffee making facilities in the room were top notch. Beautiful large walk in shower in the ensuite bathroom. Everything about the hotel was done with care and attention, you felt like part of the family. Great food, breakfast and superb coffee. There are beautiful views across the loch from the hotel, you can spot wildlife in the crystal clear waters and enjoy...

"Extremely convenient location to ferries, the train, and the main tourist area. Quiet hotel rooms even on the main street. Got a massage at the connected spa that was lovely. It is a seaside town and the rooms did smell a little musty but looked clean. Affiliated restaurant was fine for dinner but a little expensive for what it was; included breakfast was very nice."
