"Helpful staff, good breakfast and clean rooms."

"Room was clean and modern and good size for one person……wonderful location close to Cardiff castle and city centre….. beautiful big park close by…..excellent location with the National Express depot 5 minutes away for transfers to London airports or Swansea…. Pub itself and surround on the premises were run down and dated….. needed some money spent to tidy it up…."

"Short comfortable stay didn’t use the facilities"

"The angel hotel was perfect for a short stay!"

"Me, my mum and my teenage daughter stayed for one night and we really enjoyed our stay here. The location is excellent. "Staff only on site between 9&5. Good luck if you arrive early or late. Room did not have drinkable water. Had to go to first floor for drinking water Bathroom had not a single hook for towels or toiletries"

"Lovely little place to stay with an Italian restaurant downstairs! Food was great too!"

"The building is run down, But is well maintained by the staff. Def need the bar back."

The bathroom smelt really strongly of the...

"The staff, from the pub to the hotel were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and kind, telling me certain walking paths to get to the train station"

"Fantastic Place to stay and the rooms are so clean. You even have a lovey restaurant and bar that serves tapas. Will come again soon."

"What a lovely quaint place to stay, with everything you need to have a relaxing time, would highly recommend."
