"Alexander and Ally went above and beyond to assist us after a full day of traveling overseas. Thank you so much for your kindness! It made adjusting so much easier!"

"Love staying at the CHauncery when I'm in Dublin! Highly recommend in a very convenient location to everything! Staff are helpful and friendly and love the spa on the lower level! Will definitely be back!"

"Viktor and Carmen are the best!"

"My weekend in Dublin was great and partly because of the Mespil hotel. Booking the room, getting to the hotel, finding the room, etc was really a good experience. Even the unbooked breakfast was a real pleasure. Thank you to all for making it an enjoyable experience."

"Excellent place to stay in Dublin. Not quite central, but close enough to everything. Great and helpful staff too."

"The room we got was very spacious and clean. But in comparison to the other places we stayed at, we felt that the hosts were a bit rude and dismissive. Not the friendliest people we met on our trip."

"Too"

"When I first walked in my room I was very surprised by the excellent rating on here for the hotel - the room was very old, furniture worn out, and rug darkened and bumpy. The mattress was also more of a cot thickness with flat pillows and not comfortable. However, the view of the cathedral from my room was spectacular which is why I opted not to change rooms - that and they told me every room had the same mattresses. The manager and front desk staff were wonderful and very helpful and kind, so...

"Very good 👍"

"The bed was difficult to get into for the person sleeping closer to the wall. There was no sheet on the bed, only a comforter. The iPad is a must for controls and requests - I asked for an alternative and was told there wasn’t one. Caution that there is a homeless shelter feet away from the hotel - I didn’t feel safe walking alone down Peter St."

"All was brilliant apart from an alarm sounding noise each night, that went off from time to time! Not sure what it was but was slightly annoying However the room was comfortable and breakfast was good. Very nice coffee"
