Well maintained hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Close to all amenities and the Metro, but nevertheless in a quiet street - 10 minutes walk to the city centre. Nice touches with complimentary port, cherry liqueur and afternoon tea with pastries. We had a sudden need for medical assistance late in the evening and the staff were brilliant in getting it sorted. Extremely comfortable room with all you need, especially, a large bed, comfortable chairs and terrific shower - great for relaxing...

Amazing stay at Altis Avenida! Such a perfect location to explore Lisbon. The welcome we received and help with anything was wonderful. The rooftop bar was a particular highlight with a lovely atmosphere and fab cocktails. There was also a small sun deck for the moments to have a rest and take in the views.

We loved our stay at the Torel Palace. We had spent a few days staying in Bairro Alto region which was great for restaurants and nightlife . We then moved to Torel Palace and it was like taking a vacation . It's is in such s quiet , peaceful location on top of a hill, and the outdoor spaces are wonderfully relaxing with a lovely pool ( so welcome on a hot day in Lisbon).

The verdes is a unique and glorious hotel from its location - 15 minutes walk to centre - to its transport link - tram (15or 25) / bus 714 /727) or train/metro from Santos ( 5 min walk) to its ever so helpful staff to its honesty bar which is so good you want to pay ..The hotel itself is on 4 floors with a terrace next to the library ( yes it is a library with old leathers chairs and books ) which also holds the kitchen which has tea and coffee and homemade biscuits free of charge as well as the...

Lovely, charming old world hotel. Spacious lounge / breakfast room with peacocks looking in through glass doors from the beautiful outdoor courtyard most mornings. Very friendly and helpful staff. Adequate hot and cold breakfast. Room and bathroom plenty big enough for a base with a complimentary decanter of excellent Port. The hotel is located within the outer castle walls up a delightful narrow cobblestoned street where some of the houses have caged birds outside their doors, as well as...

Very relaxing stay, bedroom was delightful & the lounge area was a great space. The garden / pool area was beautiful to just chill out in the sun. Set in a quiet residential area, but only a 15 minute stroll into Cascais town centre. If you want an alternative to a big hotel, but still want a quality break, this is the place for you in Cascais.

The staff were fabulous....helpful, friendly, relaxed but very professional. We were given brilliant recommendations for dinner, pitched just right for us, so well judged by the staff. Their recommendation for Fado was also spot on. The roof top bar is great with an informal but stylish atmosphere. Breakfast is very good. The rooms are exceptionally clean.
I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world but none have come close to getting the total package as correct as this one. Exceptional.

Nice location near the old town , staff are very helpful and professional. Rooms are clean , the cafe for breakfast is basic but it’s enough for a quick grab and go . Overall a very nice stay for couple of days .

Absolutely fantastic, room was huge and had everything you need, fresh filtered water filled daily, huge shower and bathroom, super clean hotel, spa was fabulous, treatments amazing (maybe a little expensive though) gym easy access, bar and restaurant areas all staff super attentive… location is pretty far out from town centre, free bikes to use at the hotel which will get you about, not electric and 5k ish either way to town and regular beaches or 5k ish to a more surf type beach that’s...

A long weekend in Cascais with my better half was wonderful. The hotel is new, very modern, and the room we had was excellent. Love the wet room bathroom, large, 2 sinks, and a great bath. Our balcony with the twin sofa and table was very nice, with the sun in the afternoon, and had a really good view of the landscaping. Whilst I played 18 holes on the fabulous golf course (I was put with some really friendly chaps, we had a great game), my partner enjoyed a hot stone massage for 90 minutes, and...

Staying at the Pestana Palace is one of the great pleasures of life. Although it is 15-20 minutes away from downtown Rossio / Chiado by taxi, its location high on hill by the bridge is great. Belem is an easy (downhill) walk away really.
The hotel itself is magnificent - a Belle Epoque palace with formal state rooms with two modern wings attached it, and all encircling a wonderful semi-tropical garden with a lovely pool and spa in it.
