Every member of staff was helpful in providing insight on places to see, how to get around and overall recommendations. The hotel is also in walking distance from the shops and restaurants. This is an absolute must visit."

"The hotel is clean. The staff are kind and helpful. The location is only a kilometer from the train station and 100 yards from the hop-on-hop-off bus. Our room was big and we had a nice fridge. On another note, the hotel pumps in a perfume scent that is overwhelming as soon as you come through the doors to enter the lobby. Our room was "overscented" as well, I could taste it. Our room had no natural light. The windows opened into a 7 x 4 courtyard type opening. I felt very claustrophobic. "

"We had a great stay at Rossio Plaza Hotel. The hotel is nice, compact, very clean, and the location is absolutely unbeatable — right in the heart of Lisbon and perfect for exploring the city on foot. Just be prepared for European-style smaller spaces and rooms. Amenities-wise it’s very basic, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we were out and about most of the day anyway. It’s probably not the best option for families with kids, but it’s perfect for solo travelers or couples. Definitely recommend for anyone wanting a comfortable and very central place to stay"

"We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days, and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The room was clean on arrival, but extremely small - just two single beds pushed together with barely any space, making it very cramped. While the location is good, that’s where the positives end. Housekeeping and customer service were poor. On two separate days, our room wasn’t cleaned at all. When we requested fresh towels, it took 3 hours and multiple calls. Staff at reception were rude, dismissive, and unhelpful - one even said the issue “wasn’t her problem.” Eventually, the room was cleaned in just 15 minutes, which made the earlier delays even more frustrating. We also felt uncomfortable around one staff member due to inappropriate behaviour towards 2 women. Overall, the lack of basic service, poor communication, and rude staff overshadowed the good location. We are very dissatisfied and would not recommend staying here."

"The front desk staff are the best. They are the most kind and helpful I have ever experienced in any hotel. When I first arrived, it was 7 am, and I was shattered from 4 weeks travelling in West Africa and an overnight flight from Senegal. The staff allowed me to sit in the Reading Room, where I proceeded to snore my head off until 10 am, when I was awakened and told my room was ready, and my bags were already in the room!! What hospitality!! I stayed 4 nights and wanted to stay longer, but unfortunately they were fully booked. No wonder. This is the best little gem in Lisbon. The location couldn't be better. My thanks go to everyone, including the excellent Housekeeping staff."
