Was heel graag langer gebleven. Merci!

It is a beautiful and well-kept property. It is very quiet. The breakfast was wonderful, with excellent quality and the hosts were kind. There was also a nice complimentary bar for drinks, coffee, and cookies.

A stunning guest house nestled in beautiful countryside. The entire property was absolutely gorgeous, as were the rooms complete with amenities. The bed was extremely comfortable. Gregory the host could not be more warm and gracious and made us an amazing breakfast worthy of a 5* hotel.

Words cannot describe our stay with Bernd and Gregory. Their home is just stunning and decorated with style and elegance. The exterior is beautiful and in a quiet secluded area with lawns, trees, flowers and topiary that must take hours to maintain. We were warmly welcomed and invited to chose our room. This was a difficult task as every room was a delight. The bed was extra comfortable and the linen oppulent. We had a large sitting area. The bathroom was beautiful and the towels the fluffiest we have ever used - what is their secret?? The extras provided went above and beyond normal hospitality - snacks, tea, coffee and a full fridge of soft drinks. There was even a drinks cabinet in the downstairs lounge - only we were too tired to enjoy this :) Breakfast was a feast. Home made jams and yoghurt, an array of local cheese and pastries - what a start to the day! Bernd and Gregory were borne to host and do so with grace and humor. We will definately visit again.

What we were looking for was off street parking, what we found was a gorgeous country manor. Everything was perfect and then some. The bed was perfect, the bathroom was roomy, modern and had all the amenities. There was an inviting coffee/tea and snack nook available at all times. The breakfast was excellent. Our hosts were welcoming and accommodating. To top it off, the property was truly amazing, with a beautiful garden. We hope to be back.

Waouh..! Exceptional Stay We Highly Recommend During our three-night stay in Flanders, we had the pleasure of staying at La Castagnère de Bergory, and it truly made our trip even more memorable. After spending our days exploring Bruges, Ostend, and the surrounding region, it was a real delight to return each evening to this peaceful and charming retreat. The property is beautiful, full of character, and offers an atmosphere of tranquility and comfort. Our room was spacious, impeccably clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with everything needed for a relaxing stay. We particularly appreciated the quiet surroundings, the excellent bedding, and the attention to every detail. What truly sets La Castagnère de Bergory apart, however, is the outstanding hospitality of its hosts. Their kindness, warmth, availability, and thoughtful recommendations made us feel more like welcomed guests than visitors. The breakfasts were a highlight of our stay: generous, delicious, and prepared with great care. They perfectly reflected the spirit of generosity and hospitality that characterizes this wonderful place. We leave with wonderful memories and the feeling of having discovered a truly special address where authenticity, elegance, and genuine hospitality come together beautifully. Our sincere thanks to our hosts for making our stay so enjoyable. We will gladly return on a future visit to the region and wholeheartedly recommend La Castagnère de Bergory to anyone seeking a peaceful
