Lovely looking hotel in former bank close to the main station and also sightseeing and shopping area. We had a comfort room which was suitable for 2 people although the layout for shower and sink being open to the main room took getting used too. Breakfast on the first morning was chaotic, however the second morning was a lot better. Spa pool was nice if a bit small but had quite a few beds to relax on.

It was a lovely stay at the hotel. The hotel is very clean, decoration is lovely and the staff are very attentive. We only had a few issues that were minor. Firstly, the beds in the room are so light that they move around on the floor when you try to move while in the bed. If you’re pressing yourself against the headboard, your bed will slide from underneath you. Secondly, there were no robes and slippers in the room on arrival despite this being a hotel with a spa. The room was also only equipped with a couple of teabags and a couple of coffees, accompanied by plastic cups, which felt a little bit cheap for a 4* hotel. Finally, the pool and sauna are very small. When we tried to go it was far too crowded and if you’re expecting a proper swim, forget it.

This was recently opened and should not have been as they were woefully unprepared. It seems like they rushed to open to take advantage of the fact that Bruce Springsteen was in town and there were no rooms available. Rates were double for concert nights. The pool and spa were closed and the property is still under construction. Painting needs to be finished and scaffolding and ladders are on the property. While the rooms have several thoughtful design features there was no ability to adjust the temperature of the room and it was so hot that we had to open the window all night long. They were also unprepared for the number of guests at the breakfast as they ran out of items quickly and took a long time to refill. The worst part of the stay is that the only restroom available outside the rooms was FILTHY. The toilet was disgusting and the "hand towel" was a dirty bathmat.This hotel may have a lot of potential but at the pricepoint there are better options available.

What an absolute disgrace. We booked what was advertised as a beautiful, upscale new hotel, complete with high-end amenities. What we got was a construction zone masquerading as a functioning property. From the moment we arrived, it was clear we had been misled. The building is still under construction—loud, dusty, chaotic, and utterly unfit to host paying guests. The spa? Nonexistent. The pool? Closed. The air conditioning? Barely functional. Construction workers and their equipment filled the halls, stairwells, and elevators—making basic movement a challenge. The so-called “lobby” and “restaurant” looked like someone abandoned a project halfway through—stark, unfinished, and unwelcoming. Our room? Paint-smeared floors, a missing door handle that made the bathroom a safety hazard, and basic amenities like the TV and fridge that didn’t work. We had to call for help multiple times just to get through our stay. When we asked for compensation, we were offered free breakfast. That’s it. For the price we paid (in full, in advance), this was a bait-and-switch of the worst kind. The only reason I’m giving this two stars instead of one is because the staff tried to be helpful (even when they couldn’t do much) — and the croissants were truly excellent. But that’s far from enough to justify the disaster we walked into.

Upscale hotel that borders on luxury for a reasonable price, close to everything. Under 10 minute walk to the heart of old town and same to Europe train station. Smaller train station is basically right out the door. Nice staff and yes the pool, spa area is cool. We'd stay here again.

Chambre confortable, silencieuse avec bonne literie. La salle de bains est un peu exiguë et ferme seulement avec une paroi de verre incomplète ce qui peut ne pas être pratique (pas d’atténuation du bruit de la douche ou du sèche-cheveux) Personnel très agréable et attentif. Petit bémol : le spa (piscine-sauna) n’est pas spacieux et très fréquenté: c’est bruyant et il faut faire la queue pour le sauna. Les transats sont esthétiques mais peu confortables. Le lieu reste charmant avec les anciens coffres de la banque ornant le pourtour de la piscine chauffée.

Hôtel situé près de la Gare Lille Flandres et du Grand Palais de Lille. Excellent rapport qualité prix. Personnel d’une grande gentillesse. Chambres très propres et bien agencées. Piscine chauffée très agréable et avec des horaires larges. Je reprendrai une chambre ici si je reviens à Lille!

Peu mieux faire pour un 4 étoiles

Hôtel offrant de belles prestations, par contre malgré un contact téléphonique, la chambre ne correspondait pas à ce qui était convenu. Le ménage "aléatoire" (lits non faits, plus de papier toilettes). Et pour terminer, il était mentionné avant mon départ, le tarif du parking le plus proche à environ 15 euros la journée contre un tarif réel à 25 euros. De gros efforts sur l'accueil à faire...

Nous avons passé une nuit à l'hôtel Oceania de Lille. L'hôtel, en plein coeur de ville et à quelques minutes des gares, vient d'ouvrir et offre de belles prestations en termes de confort des chambres et de calme. L'espace spa dans l'ancienne salle des coffres de ce qui était auparavant une banque est très original. Le petit déjeuner était tout à fait satisfaisant en ce qui concerne la variété et la fraîcheur des produits offerts. Nous tenons à souligner la qualité de l'accueil par un personnel très disponible, devançant nos attentes et soucieux de nous offrir les meilleures prestations possibles. Un grand merci à eux et a elles pour leur gentillesse et leur prévenance.
