"Even though the property is outside of the tourist area, the local bus, line 401, picks up and drops off almost exactly in front of the property. I enjoyed having access to a washing machine and dryer (5€ for a load to wash, 5€ for a load to dry). On my first morning, I had the breakfast at the hostel, however I did not feel like it was worth paying 8€. I’d recommend going to O’Connors bakery, a 5 min walk from the hostel instead. "The location here was the best. Everything was close, and the city bus station is right next door. The hotel room was clean . the staff were friendly. I forgot the name of the man working at the front desk, but he was Malaysian. He was so kind and tried his best to help, so I was very grateful. If you were booking a tour or looking for best location I would prefer this hotel."

"The room was rather Spartan. No drawers for clothes. Plumbing was primitive( some sort of pump toilet). All electric was slave to key card. No idea how to turn on anything including coffee brewer, individual light switches, and several room lights. Only a comforter on the bed, no sheets resulting in much too warm or really chilly. All this aside, the place was very congenial and well situated to the wonderful city of Galway.Any review would be incomplete without mentioning the marvelous FOOD!...

Saw reviews of it being too loud, but it was really quiet with the windows closed so not sure what that’s all about. Very nice staff and good continental breakfast. Absolutely would recommend"
