Gent at the reception needs to work on his listening skills as he cut me while speaking when I tried explaining that we already parked and already had a parking tag and when we asked for a kettle, he generalized us and self assumed that we may use that to cook food, which we were not planning...

"I went to Engelberg for a restful weekend of walking and was very happy with my stay. From arrival to departure the ladies who operate the hotel were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was great, and they are well stocked with comforts like snacks and wine (very fairly priced too!) for late night goodies. I would recommend them and hope to stay again another time."

"It’s up the Grimsel pass about 6 kilometres from Innertkirchen, had a decent spaghetti bolognaise, there’s millions of flies sharing it if you sit outside , it’s not the hotel at fault it’s just Switzerland. Room had a sink in it , nothing else , one shower room and toilet , 13 rooms on the floor we were on , I cannot say how many of these 13 rooms had en suites , if they do not then one shower and one toilet is not enough, £140 for the room is pushing it"

"Where to start? The pictures you see may or may not be where you stay. Our room is on the 3rd floor of a wooden old building that can be best described as a huge fire hazard with no alternative exit, but that is not where the bad ends. The room was furnished with what can best be described as old furniture that may have been salvaged from the curb, combined with more modern pieces from the local super cheap version of Ikea's sister company . "This location was close to a bus stop and gas station. It is also in the same building as the bus repair shops. Throughout the buildings interior and and exterior you can smell the pollution. There is a lack of visibility of the staff onsite, in my 3 night stay I only saw front lady staff once. They only keep the front desk opened within certain hours, but even then when I went down to speak with someone, there was no one to be found.
