"We had a fantastic stay at this hotel, and it's no wonder it's considered one of the best on the island. The attention to detail was stunning, from the spacious rooms with comfy beds and balconies overlooking the pool, gardens, or Mount Teide, to their amazing jellyfish tank and collection of colourful parrots. The breakfast buffet was extensive, and while dinner offered a delicious a la carte menu with generous portions, vegans/vegetarians might find the options a bit limited after a few days....

It does feel a bit dated in places and the food at the buffet was often cold - also not very good at catering for vegetarians as there is a lot of careless cross contamination both by guests and staff. Overall for the lower price for a hotel, did not expect amazing as you get what you pay for and we were happy with the stay for a couple of nights "

"Had a very relaxing stay at costa jardin and spa - most of staff very friendly rooms cleaned every day and towels changed when requested Location on the outskirts of Puerto de La Cruz the hotel provided a shuttle bus about five or six times a day to the shopping centre/centre of Puerto de La Cruz and back again which was very helpful as a very steep walk back to hotel Outside pool - pool table - snooker table all very good Food was okay always found something to eat - dissapointed that one day...

"It was an ok stay. There were things that we expected that we didn’t get. Felt nickel and dimed. You had to pay for the safe in your room. Deposit for pool towel and they charged to get a fresh one each day. One large bottle of water for the entire week would have expected one each day. Wifi was terrible. They allow smoking on balconies in a resort with no central air. We couldn’t have our patio door open due to your neighbour smoking "

"Just back from a week's stay, big hotel but you never get the feeling of being crowded. Our room had a kitchenette, which had enough equipment to make simple dinners & breakfasts. No air conditioning in the room, but not a problem as was cool in evenings/overnight. The staff were very helpful - overall a great place to stay in a nice part of Tenerife."

"If on a budget the hotel is great. Not the newest or the best, but overall clean, comfortable and located near the beach and in the quieter side of the town. The breakfast is very varied and it is clear that staff is trying to bring something special around the holidays, but the quality is pretty low, so a suggestion would be to lower the variety, while focusing on quality and taste for smaller choice. "Hotel has limited parking. May be risky to park outside of hotel grounds even if you are lucky to find something... Rental cars are an easy target. Busy streets and no where nice walk near the hotel. The water on the island is no good. Hotel does not provide drinking water except at dinner. You need to go and buy your own. The smell of smoke is everywhere in this hotel, Had to move rooms as it smelt so bad. Management insisted it was a non smoking room... however they provide ashtrays...

"Hotel in ideal position,5-15 mins from supermarket,restaurants,beach and main square. Bus station is 3 mins walk. Checking was easy. Rooms are ok but could do with a update. Swimming pool/area was well kept. I rented a in-room safe which didn't work (battery needed replacing) went to reception and was offered a security box till it was replaced, it was replaced with-in 2-3 hours. I would stay here again because for the price it is ideal. "
