"The property is beautiful and is right in the old city. The room was good size and had a large bathroom. We had a lovely view of the hotel gardens. The pool area was especially nice. It was a little confusing for us to figure out exactly where to go to be transferred to the hotel. All the staff were very friendly,helpful and professional. Some of the carpets are showing their age and could us an upgrade. We would certainly stay there again."

"The hotel is in a great location. Parking just outside the walls with someone to shuttle our bags. It was a nice place but the front desk people were not helpful. We asked about restaurants and they seemed confused about actually recommending one. They also didn’t want to call and make a reservation for us. When asked about surrounding wineries the one desk guy actually said he had no “knowledge of anything outside the Cité.” Breakfast staff were grouchy both mornings. Bed was extremely hard...

"The hotel is very convenient for accessing the fortress, shops & restaurants. It is right across the street from the wall & very close to the gate without the long uphill walk. Staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable, room was very clean. The shower was a little small but fine & there was also a free standing tub. We would definitely stay there again."

"Chambre annulée sur place alors que payée. Très mauvais accueil. Surbooking pour atterrir à 2kms… un Mercure… attention de ne pas confondre Surbooking et Dol. Une fois arrivé au Mercure 4*… Télévision qui ne fonctionne pas, plus de place sur le parking à 20:30, pas de gel douche dans la SDB… pour un surclassement en 4 étoiles… c’est limite… très limite. Il faudrait penser à se poser les bonnes questions. Personnellement je ne me les pose plus concernant ces deux établissements ; a fuir, next....
