I thought the common areas, reception, restaurant etc. were very well maintained and looked updated. The grounds are kept clean and cover a large area. They have multiple pools but unfortunately 2 were shut for maintenance but that did not ruin our stay as the main pool was open and was a decent size. If I have to find a negative, then it will be the room. 5* touches missing. Ending on a positive, staff are excellent and restaurant menu despite staying the same, had a lot of choice.

We loved staying at this resort for a girls trip. Such warm staff and elegant surroundings. Great choice of dining and pools plus not too far from airport and main town. Monkeys played on our balcony’s, local cuisine was delicious and relaxing by the pool was perfect. Thank you!

The staff at the Westin were brilliant, the property could do with slight improvements but it’s nothing that was too noticeable for our comfort. Everything worked and we really enjoyed the villa. I wear a hijab and we found out we could also request a screen for the pool area for a charge of 600 MYR. This was brilliant as I could make full use of the private pool area. The breakfast was okay with lots of choice. Our only con would be our mattress had a real noticeable dip on it but we didn’t mention this to staff, which I’m sure they would have done something about it as service here is 10/10.

Below expectations.. Unfortunately, we found the experience fell short of what we anticipated for a property of this caliber and price point. The resort itself feels somewhat dated and outdated in certain areas. While the overall grounds and atmosphere are pleasant and relaxing, the rooms and facilities show signs of age that don’t fully align with current 5-star standards. Given the high rates and our expectations for safety, maintenance standards, privacy, and guest care at a Westin property, we were left quite disappointed. While the relaxing setting has potential, several key aspects like room condition, view accuracy, value for money, and handling of security and maintenance concerns need significant improvement. We would think carefully before recommending or returning.

Great resort for either families or older couples. Good facilities and 5 star luxury overall although some parts of the building and rooms are starting to show their age - would strongly recommend as still offers 5 star quality at a competitive rate
