The hotel is very dated and not at all like the pictures indicate. The room and bathroom was clean but because the fittings were so old everything looked dirty. The bath tub was yellow. Whilst this isn't a problem in itself the shower curtain was so old it was all yellow and had patches of black mould and the towels were so old it was all frayed. I cannot understand how they can operate under such standards and claim they are a 4* hotel. The only good thing about the stay was the spa which was offered by a different provider. I would not recommend a stay here.

Had a great stay at Bayview Hotel Langkawi. The room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and they kindly arranged early check-in for us upon request. We booked a family room sea view but the room had strong damp smell which they changed for us. The new room was in better condition but bidet was leaking water in the bathroom wetting the whole floor we complained to hotel they said they will get someone to fix but didn’t. Breakfast was terrible cold left out without covering flies were siting on food. Egg counter staff were rude when I asked for a well done fried egg lady took an old left out egg and flipped fried on other side fried that side and put it in my plate without a word and left. Staff other than reception staff are generally Rude.

I had a pleasant stay at Bayview Hotel. The property is nice and well maintained, and the staff are friendly, responsive, and polite. The rooms are clean and comfortable, though they are a bit dated. The only downside was that the walls are quite thin — it was easy to hear noise from neighbouring rooms, especially at night. Overall, it’s a good and convenient place to stay, offering great value for money.
