A lovely resort, close to nature

The resort is rather out of the way, being on top Langkawi's highest mountain, Gunung Raya. The exterior of the resort is in need of upgrading, but the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The few staff there are exceedingly helpful and conscientious, helpful with any requests I had. I would recommend a short stay here for any nature enthusiasts or photographers, who would no doubt enjoy the diverse Flora & Fauna around the mountain. The viewing tower provides breathtaking views of the area, and is free for guests. The breakfast, available upon request was also delicious.

Ghost hotel. Stay somewhere else.

The hotel must have been gorgeous at some point in time, but most of it is currently condemned, padlocked, or empty. It is not in good shape. Lots of damage by the elements, mold, holes, etc. They have very few guess, I was the only guest, and extremely limited services. It is not worth the price. There's a microclimate at the summit, the place was engulfed in fog, but it was actually nice and sunny as soon as you left the site. Add the screaming wind to it and you have the creepiest hotel I could ever imagine.

Quite disappointed caused apart from the hill top remote location, the one and only restaurant operates from 8am to 8pm. Nice architecture but seriously lack of maintenance. Reaching a service staff before 8am or after 9pm could be a challenge.

Nice n helpful stuffs

The room emptied for long time. Smells so dusty. However, all the stuffs were so helpful n nice. They directly clean up the room for us after we told them the problem we faced.

On the top of Langkawi , lots of monkeys outstanding view, not to many ppl at all. Takes about 30 minutes from the hotel but worth it, recommend for couples
