Faucet in the bathroom not good throw water everywhere,touching the wall when sitting in the toilet seat, small bathroom , squeaky bed , swimming pool closed at 7pm,when you come back at 8 or 9pm you are very happy to not swim while you choose this place for the swimming pool,Very nice and helpful hotel staff

The staff were great and the room was older but clean. The pool was fantastic. There are a couple concerns. The WIFI only works if you are sitting outside of the office. It does not reach the rooms. Also the rooms do not have safes and there are no safety deposit boxes in the office. Meant having to keep valuable on your person all the time.

Highly recommended.

One of the best places we've stayed. The room was really big with a nice bed. The rooms have a terrace but I would recommend asking for a room that is not looking out over the road. Everything is in walking distance. Good food good beach. Staff very helpfull. Highly recommended.

Value for money!

Trevligt och personligt men enkelt hotell, mycket fräscht och personalen var hjälpsam. Hotellet ligger ett stenkast från huvudgatan där det finns ett bra utbud av restauranger och minimarkets. För att komma till den badvänligaste delen av stranden där det även fanns palmer för skugga fick man gå ca fem minuter, antingen längs med stranden eller på huvudgatan. På stranden direkt nedanför fanns dock solstolar med parasoll att hyra. Strandhanddukar fanns att låna gratis på hotellet.

The place is a bit remote from the main street, but on the same hand very close from the places you need staying in Langkawi - beach, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Do not expect nice view around the hotel. It looks a bit abandoned around.

Ideal location in Langkawi beside Pantai Cenang beach. Clean rooms, spacious as well. Two minutes walk to the beach and the main street for restaurants. Very good value aswell.

Not pleasant at all...

The room we had got lots of mosquitoes. One hotel staff entered our room without knocking, when I asked what is it about, he just went away without explaining. Quite dubious I would say. I am not generalizing as the other staff and the concierge are accommodating and helpful.

Good location, but street noise was jarring

The room was nicely decorated, of reasonable size and tidy. Good value for money. However, the teddy bear room for 3 (room 9) had windows facing the street and they were not soundproof nor sealed (window flaps). Noise from vehicles passing through the street was terrible and prevented us from having any proper sleep throughout the time we were there. When probed, hotel did offer to change rooms for us for a night, but due to a later booking we did not get to do so. Nothing else was offered to reduce the noise level to ensure that we had a more comfortable stay.

Great place for the price

Location was great, walking distance to Pantai cenang beach and near restaurants. The room was unbelievably clean. Only problem was mosquitoes but this seems to be the case for most places along the same stretch. It would have been good if they had one of those in room insect repellant devices.

Comfortable stay!

Great stay at Casa Idaman

Great value motel. Originally booked to stay here for 12 nights but having visited before our stay decided to extend for a further 14! We stayed in room 310 which is in the new annex . Small snagging issues were quickly dealt with. The main benefits of this motel are the large fridges that stay on and the two Film channels on the TV. Beds are really comfortable. The staff are fantastic really friendly and obliging. There are various eateries within walking distance and the beach is about five minutes away. I would recommend this motel .
