"The entire property smelled of curry but the food cooked in the restaurant was American… burgers, hot dogs and such. The room was clean but the towels were the smallest, thinnest I’ve had at any stay. Laundry was $2 to wash $2 to dry but worked well.
The room was clean but noisy. The floors made a lot of noise in our first floor room and it sounded like the people above us were walking heavily back and forth over the room. We could hear the people in the room beside us and people in the hallway could be heard well enough to join their conversations.
This town didn’t seem to have any really good places to eat. We asked a local for a suggestion and were told that the Miners Saloon was our best bet and that wasn’t always great either.
When we went to leave the next morning, the smell of curry overpowered the coffee in the lobby.
The staff was nice but we did have a problem connecting with WiFi and when we asked for help, they had to get a 3rd person to give me a password for a different router.
Overall, the quality of the hotel was about what I expected and my expectations were not high.
But if you’re going to make curried foods, you probably should advertise that type of eatery and experience."
"Room, decor and bathrooms were antiquated. There was barely any lighting in the room. Room rate was quite expensive for what they offered. I understand that it was inside the park. I would not recommend this property."
"We stayed in one of the cabins, with shared bathroom with neighboring cabins, so a tad rustic.
We did enjoy our front deck, with a cocktail watching all the whistlepigs."
"Cute little room. Amenities were great, only complaint we would possibly have as it was a little loud as our room was underneath of the main desk. Other than that very nice. Would definitely stay there again. I'm sure one of the other rooms that were unattached to the office would be nice and peaceful."
