"Food at the Inn arrived incorrectly, and tasteless. It was removed from the bill. When we entered our room the toilet seat almost fell off when moved. The heater in the room was broken. "We had a wonderful stay in this real southern Lake District gem of a cottage – thank you Jules (and Alistair)! It's even lovelier than the photos show! "What a pleasant place this was. We had food in the Dolly bar and it was excellent. The staff are very helpful. The room was clean and had everything you could want If I was being picky it would of been lovely to of seen outside lights from the bar so you could see the river in the dark"

"It was very lovely to stay in the dog-friendly hotel in a quiet location. The room was relatively small, and during the night, we suddenly heard noises from the drains. They were pretty noisy, and the room was dog-friendly. Staff members were helpful and friendly, but some did not say hello or good morning and did not even look at guests. "The lodge itself is lovely, it’s spacious and has so much potential but Cleanliness was a let down for us. We arrived 30 minutes after the allotted check-in time to a property that hadn’t been cleaned. Dirty towels on the floor, beds not made and the floor was filthy.
