"Room was clean and location was perfect. We headed to bowness for an evening cruise, was lovely and easy to walk back to hotel. If you’re booking through a third party then please be aware of a parking charge, we paid £10 for two days we stayed, was not too bad, although limited parking on site, and we could always use the overflow parking. Breakfast was nice too. Overall was a good stay."

"Craig and Tommy were excellent welcoming hosts and they couldn’t do enough to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We loved the quirkiness, laid back feel, and atmosphere of the Ryebeck. The food was very good and we wish to pass on our compliments to the chef. The hotel’s location and its views across the Windermere are wonderful. We will certainly look to stay again. "We loved everything about The Belsfield Hotel. We stayed there a few years ago and it was beautiful, but since it has new owners, the staff are happier, the hotel is continually being updated restoring it to it's former glory. Our room was perfect, the breakfast was incredible and the staff couldn't have been nicer with us. We will be returning again later in the year, before we get married there. It's a gorgeous, stunning hotel."

"Stays there with my girlfriend for my first year anniversary, that staff were absolutely amazing super happy to help with anything we inquired, the room and bathroom were spotless and towels and robe were fresh, the breakfast was amazing and bar had loads of variety of drinks and cocktails"

"The hotel is ok but there are some important things to know before booking. Both parking and the swimming pool are an additional charge (£10 & £15 a day respectively) and, whilst the hotel is said to be family friendly, there is no children’s menu, the pool only allows children in it between 8 am and 11 am and there’s really nothing for children to do apart from the pool. The staff are very helpful and friendly."

"Apartment is spacious and clean. Location is excellent although you need to find the many shortcuts to the surrounding streets... furniture are a bit old-fashioned, and some taps are separate for cold/hot, as is quite common in the UK... Narrow stairs to climb 2 floors, but this was expected"
