"The restaurant was excellent although the service was slow as there was no Maitre d' at the door to welcome and we had to wait quite a few minutes to be seated. However, the waiter cleared a table for us efficiently upon request.
The setting was perfect for our outdoor weekend: rapidly flowing river outside our window and lovely views into the valley.
The room was comfortable and spacious fitting myself, my husband and grown son adequately."

"The property was spotless, very well appointed and everything was of very good quality.Breakfasts were freshly made and delicious. Our hostess was very friendly and gave us excellent advice about places to visit and good places to eat. There was nothing about the property. that we did not like.

"View from room was beautiful. Room condition was acceptable. Breakfast was basic buffet with cold cuts,cereal ,fruits , simple pastry ,coffee from automatic coffee machine. No hot food included in booking such as eggs or full English breakfast ,You have to pay more for that. "
"Only stayed one night. Lovely quiet setting. The whole place has character. Staff were great and friendly, very accommodating. Beautiful views from the restaurant and bar of the gardens. Room was nice, tidy and clean although a little warm for my liking. Will be back for another stay soon! "
