"Very friendly staff"

"Too many stairs and it's not good for people with disabilities. They do have ramps for the wheelchairs but not everywhere. Everything is too far and you always need a shuttle bus that you have to wait for."

"Beautiful hotel with beautiful beach that is swimmable. Several pools and some are designed for adults only. Beach has many pavillion type beds with some that are covered and others are not (fist come first serve). Restaurants are good but food could be improved. Bars are awful, only generic rum, no Brugal, Barcelo. Pools are missing many tiles and badly worn, underwater lights are off the sockets, but pools are clean. Rooms are great with great beds, very cold, roomy, and very clean but aged. Beware of the 20 sales people hounding guess to purchase extremely expensive time shares. I have been there 3x and still recommend."

"Siempre es un placer visitar Sosua by the Sea. Desde el personal,limpieza,restaurante sabroso sabor, rica bebidas y esa cervesita fria para la calor. Si buscas un lugar donde pasarla bien de manera tranquila o descanzar este es el lugar perfecto. "Very nice staff and very nice places"

"I went back and forth on how to rate this resort. There are definitely positives, but a few key issues shaped my experience. The property is well maintained and small enough that it’s easy to navigate. The beach is beautiful, and I really appreciated that vendors were respectful—if you said no, they moved on without pressure. The room was also great: clean, comfortable, and nicely set up. The biggest downside was the food. The buffet was mediocre at best—edible, but not enjoyable. I can’t speak to the specialty restaurants because there was never any availability during my stay. That may be partly on me for not reserving earlier, but it was still disappointing given the weak buffet options. Staff members were very nice though. Always smiling. Another issue was departure. Ubers aren’t allowed on the property. We had to walk about 20 minutes outside the resort to meet our ride, along a busy and somewhat unsafe road. No one at the resort would assist us with a cart, which made it even more frustrating. They were basically like: Good luck! Because of the food and the departure experience, I likely won't return. But I am persuadable with a good price!"
