"An older property with a facelift that is built into the cliff side gives European style vibes and easy beach access with an incredible view but prepare for lots of stairs and not so modern heat / air options. We had a plumbing issue with water and debris backing up into our bathroom sink overnight likely caused by years of people rinsing their sandy clothes in the sink which isn’t necessarily the hotel’s fault."

"The room was nice, the view great. No mention when booking that the hotel was undergoing major renovation. The check in lobby was in basement parking area. Due to construction, there should have been some relief to the $45 a night parking fee and $35 a night resort fee."

"We appreciated the notice before we booked that construction was going on at the property. But the room, location and staff made up for anything that could have distracted from our staff. Good luck! Hopefully we can afford the place once construction is completed."
