"Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. The setting within the Winelands is spectacular and Avondrood was a great jumping off point to explore many estates and...

"Mirabelle Guest House is a wonderful property. I called to arrange a late check in and the staff member accommodated which was much appreciated. The room was a great size and the grounds were lovely. Breakfast was cooked on request and lovely."

" No views at all unless you class a brick wall as a view. Property perfunctory and more like a backpackers place. Very noisy due to some exuberant neighbours. Staircase creased and fridge kept going off and on during the night. Most disappointing was the TV. Tho it had every channel under the sun apparently, including DSTV none of it was accessible unless you brought your own streaming access!"
