"Amazing stay and amazing staff at Avondrood. Our room was fabulous and well appointed. The included breakfast was great, and it was nice to have a bar on site for an evening drink. Avondrood is well located in beautiful Franschhoek and an easy to walk to restaurants and shops. My wife and I walked in the evening to restaurants in town and felt safe walking back at night. "We had the most wonderful stay at Flour du Soleil in Franschhoek – total comfort and convenience from start to finish. The accommodation was stylish, spotless, and incredibly cosy – we felt right at home the moment we arrived. The service was exceptional – warm, responsive, and genuinely thoughtful without ever being over the top. Every little detail was taken care of, which made it all so easy and relaxing. A perfect base for exploring Franschhoek – we’ll absolutely be back!"

" We spent five nights in the petite apartment, which is beautiful, spacious and very well equipped. Lovely gardens, swimming pool and a braai. The maintenance and cleaning is to a very high standard, WiFi worked well. It’s well located in a quiet / safe area, pleasant walk to an abundance of great restaurants, cafes and wine bars. Highly recommend a visit, we’ll be back!"

"Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

"Plumwood boutique hotel was situated close to all the amenities in Franschhoek. The room was spotless. The staff were excellent on always on hand to help us. We had an amazing breakfast with a fantastic choice. Lovely little touches such as a bed turndown, message on our pillow, slippers, hot and cold drinks always available and a beautiful bracelet as a parting gift. "We had a wonderful stay at the Last Word. Franklin, Conrad and the whole team couldn’t have done more to make us feel welcome, at home and offered to help with all aspects of our trip plans. The hotel decor and facilities surpassed expectations. We had an amazing few nights sleep, the room felt very premium and the bathroom was incredible! Overall, we felt the hotel was worth far more than what we paid and can’t wait to return!"

"Diese Unterkunft war einfach nur fantastisch! Wir wurden mit so einer Gastfreundschaft von Elmarie empfangen und alles war einfach super. Das liebevoll hergerichtete Frühstück, die schönen Zimmer mit einem riesen Bad, der schöne Pool mit den Liegen, die Umgebung und auch die weiteren Angestellten waren alle top. Auch ist es sehr ruhig da und man kann sich echt entspannen."

"I can't imagine having a better experience - the most wonderful hospitality & it's a perfect location. The staff is exceptional & the apartments are spacious, comfortable, & private. The town is great the main thoroughfare is literally seconds from the hotel & on the corner opposite the property there's puzza/pasta restaurant with a large courtyard that has live music sometimes. I felt safe and well cared for during my stay - I'll definitely be back when I have future trips to this exceptional...
