I had a small accident and broke my foot, the hosts were so helpful and really went out of their way. Everything I needed was there and it was easily accessible to the city center. "A very nice little flat 10 minutes walk away from the city centre. Lovely thick carpets. The main bedroom is very nice indeed. Comfortable bed. Effective fan provided which was a godsend during hot weather. Kids bedroom was nice too and they loved the bunk bed set up, which was solid. There is outdoor space however it is shared and a small shadowy courtyard. Doesn't look used at all. The flat is a funny layout. We slept in the main room which is at the front of the flat and the kids room is...

"We were in one of the rooms in a converted building at the back of the pub. And it was lovely. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, lovely shower room. It was delightful. Staff were really helpful, and breakfast was fabulous. We will certainly return."

"It was very clean and the facilities were as described. We had a twin room. It was downstairs next to the front door but it was very quiet in the property. We weren’t disturbed. Good tea and coffee making facilities. Fridge and bottled water provided. Host was on hand when we checked in and explained everything we needed to know. Just stayed on night. Met our needs comfortably. Uber from Betty’s York area around £5 each way. It is walkable too. "

"Lovely hotel, great location in the centre of town. Staff were happy to take our bags, when we arrived well ahead of check in, in fact all the staff whether in reception, breakfast or in the bar were polite and professional. Thought the rooms were excellent and very comfortable, huge comfy beds and spotless. Just enjoyed the layout of the hotel very relaxing with a nice atmosphere, overall an excellent stay and will definitely be back."
