the room toilet was quite run down. there is no shower curtain, the vanity top tiles was missing. guess they really to maintain the room.

There are a lot of eateries around this hotel area and opposite of the hotel is Starling shopping Mal!! There are banks such as HSBC, Maybank and UOB located in this Uptown area. Room is clean and pleasant, however, droplets of water keeps dripping from the air conditioner.

Good room, facilities and location

Excellent room and attached bathroom. Spacious shower area. Functional room layout, good mattress and pillows. Added plus of pantry with hot water, microwave etc. Good for when you feel to lazy to walk out even though there are good eats just a stones throw away and the shoppong mall across the road.

Affordable room, closeby shops and mall,

nice setup close to a new mall. Great variety of shops nearby , lots of good food, convenience stores. Nice new mall just opposite, great cinema inside. There are 2 MRT stations within 30 minute walking distance (TTDI - Taman Tun Dr. Ismail, and Bandar Utama) Comfortable bed, nice tv with movies on. No issues with the wifi. Shower room has great rainfall shower , with option to switch to hanheld shower. Personally i would prefer white or brighter tiles in the bathroom so it would look larger and roomier. The shower splases outside, woud soak the floormat i got room 309 , it does not have a window. The only downside to that would be the inability to tell time, especially when its time to wake up. Would have also been nice if there was an easy way to control the room lights from the bed. Sufficient power points to charge laptop, phone , smartwatch, bluetooth earphones..no USB charging ports built in to the room though. I asked for an extension on the check out time and was granted a one hour extension. When i went to check out, i was informed the late check out would cause a RM 10 deduction from the deposit. There is a RM10 pernight deposit. Do ask in advance if there are any penalties for the extension. Check the air conditioner remote for the auto ON and OFF times. Also check the remote time. Mine turned off in the morning. i had to adjust the correct time and the ON / OFF times. Laundry is RM10 per kilo. Hand over in the morning, and get it back next morning.

Ryokan, job well done!

Overall it was an okay stay at Ryokan, budget boutique hotel, no frill with basis breakfast provided. It is a reasonable boutique hotel. Service: Check-in no issue, the staff is helpful and willing to provide info. and help. Cleanliness: Reasonably clean, nothing to complain about. Comfort: Not great but not bad either, it is decent. Condition: Not too bad, still considered a new hotel, so the condition of this hotel is acceptable. Local area: Bustling, centre of the commercial hub of Damansara Utama Uptown. Full of choices of local foods, drinks, a brand new shopping mall, lots of shop, etc. If you enjoy being in the busy area (not noisy) this is the place to go.

Chic on a budget

Expected better beds and at least with more hair dryers on loan (was told to have all loaned out on first night stay). And many budget hotels (daily rate RM150 and below) would have at least provide unlimited refillable drinking water -- not water dispenser with 17-liter for entire floor.

這三個晚上住白沙羅旅館，感覺還可以，還蠻舒適的，但有一點必須要建議:就是需要電梯，否則搬運較重的行李時，非常吃力！ 如果再增設電梯的話，相信會更多旅客上門住宿。

Reasonably priced clean and spacious room

Checked in late and was given a room immediately. The Aristocrat Room is nice and clean and spacious. If only there were more amenities like towels. Construction going on in front of the hotel even on Sunday morning that'll wake you up
