The room was clean and spacious for 3 people. The only thing that was a bit inconvenient was the queue for the elevators. Certain elevators stops at a specific floor. Although there were few elevators that service the building, there's never a moment where there is no queue. It can be annoying but I guess this is normal for apartment buildings in Hongkong.

Room was very much what we expected and needed. Front desk staff was very helpful in storing our luggage as we arrived in the morning. Check-in and check-out was very smooth and easy. Super nice staff. Hot water was great. We had A/C but didn't actually use it because of the nice temperatures at the time. Nice hot water/tea station in the shared area. Lots of toiletries, towels, etc. A very nice stay overall and I would recommend this place for a good central stay in Kowloon.

It’s not a hotel or an inn as Americans are used to.They share Mirador Mansion with many other inns, guest houses and hostels, each with their own ownership. Positives: (Inn) Room is clean, the wall tiling is new, plenty of storage in cubby holes and under the bed, and amenities include an in-room safe, refrigerator, hair dryer. Their soundproofing works really well! It also feels very safe, with two levels of keycard door locks. The Wi-Fi worked just fine. (Building) Security desk right in front of the lobby elevators. There’s businesses that are on the 1st and 2nd floors, so you can buy groceries and snacks and baked goods and exchange currency (good rates). (Building) It's really close to the MTR. The location is great, with plenty to see and do, and a variety of eats are easily in walking distance. Negatives: (Building) Don’t look out the window. It's a depressing outdoor shaft and no street view. It's claustrophobic, feeling like you're boxed in.The open courtyard is also ugly with no view, just laundry. (Inn) Didn't like having a shower not separated from the sink and toilet. The only way to keep the bathroom floor relatively dry is to shower in the corner. Pedestal sink with no vanity or counter space. Had to ask for a hand towel, and there is no place to hang it. Conclusions: I probably won’t book a "guest house" again. I prefer a true hotel. Others have rated the Victoria Inn pretty high on Expedia and Google, so for a guest house, this is a very good one.

Budget stay in a convenient location

Budget place in very convenient location. Generally clean (daily house keeping person does a good job) but getting into the venue takes a bit of navigation thru rugged area. Has distinct odor getting into the stay.

Safe and secure place
