"We wanted to stay for our first wedding anniversary and we were expecting a pleasant stay as hotel is well rated. We had originally booked the Essential room which included a king bed. Based on the photos advertised, it looked like the room included a normal bathroom. We were surprised upon check in and was told that they only had an accessible room available for us to stay in. We were reassured that the only difference was that the bathroom had a rail and a curtain but otherwise looks the same as the ad. To our surprise the room that was given to us was an accessible room purposefully built for handicapped guests with a bathroom looking, feeling, and smelling like a hospital. This was sold to us as if there was no difference in the room BEFORE taking our money. After over an hour of back and forth with the staff, we decided to leave all together and they refused to refund our money. The staff were unhelpful and were extremely unsympathetic. The ad is misleading and information about room distinctions are not clearly stated. Will not be returning. "
