We were on the second floor but our room was on the other side of the building so we got off the elevator (1 checked bag, 1 carry-on and 1 personal) then had to walk down a flight and then up a different flight of stairs to access our room - this is after landing at around 7am and heading straight to the Blue Lagoon then checking in afterwards. I wanted to cry, good thing we went to...

"Only the bare minimum was available in the kitchen. Bring your own corkscrew and knives! We had to pay a lot for extra cleaning of the room and then noticed they had not done much, not changed the sheets nor cleaned the bathroom. There was a lot of dust behind and under couch.... "

"Nice apartment -- pick somewhere else if you want to cook. Newly refurbished apartment in an nice older Art Deco era apartment. The apartment itself was stylish and well appointed. Furnishings were relatively new and everything was in good repair. The cooking facilities were severely lacking for someone who plans to actually cook a meal. 2 burner stove with temperature labels worn off, I had to guess which direction was high or low. Burners are too close together to fit a frying pan and...

"I did not get my check in instructions ahead of time and was locked out on the first night. I had to pay 244 euros for a hotel. Neither summer day nor Expedia would refund me. Fraud as they blamed each other. The internet did not work in my room and the person who responded could only say “good luck”. Horrible place to stay. Would not recommend either summer day or Expedia. "
