"This was by far the best hotel we stayed at during our entire trip in Japan, and we stayed in quite a few throughout the country. The breakfast was incredible, easily the best of our trip. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a great atmosphere and a fantastic location, within walking distance to lots of shops and restaurants.
The staff was outstanding, kind, helpful, and professional. Our room was spacious, spotless, and incredibly comfortable, with a large, spa-like bathroom that felt luxurious.
I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Japan. It truly exceeded our expectations in every way."
"I like the Gion area around this hotel. There is a famous shrine nearby and a charming shopping district around the corner. The futons are comfy and the room doesn't feel cramped. The staff is super nice and helpful. We liked this place so much this is our second stay there. "
