"The accommodation was basic but clean, located on the beach but it’s not relaxing due to the large volume of long tails boats arriving and departing all day every day. Getting a long tail boat to the pier can also be difficult. They won’t leave with one or two people so you often have to wait until more are ready to leave. Getting dropped off by the taxi boat in high tide is difficult especially at night. No good options for eating close by. You can walk to the main area in about 20/25 mins but...

"Our stay at Santhiya Koh Yao Yai Resort & Spa was nothing short of spectacular. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and wonderfully unique. The resort perfectly blends luxury with nature, offering breathtaking ocean views, beautifully crafted wooden architecture, and a sense of peace that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making sure every detail was taken care of throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and elegant, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was incredibly relaxing.
