"Older resort in a stunning beachside location with a huge pool. Most staff were friendly and helpful, especially Julie. My ground floor room was spacious with a renovated bathroom & terrace. Unfortunately the old, heavy timber furniture was dated, whilst the poor lighting, multiple light switches and heavy curtains combined to create a dark ambience. The bed mattress was firm and uncomfortable. Breakfasts were disappointing - eg limited range of cereals and fresh fruit, malfunctioning toaster. Service staff seemed bored and disinterested. Heaps of customer service improvement and building/grounds maintenance are required eg painting of timber railings, broken step tiles, rubbish at foot of stair wells. Local shops outside the Hotel include a mini-market but only a single major restaurant."
