"In the morning of the day of check-in, we got a message from this hotel telling us they are undergoing “construction” and don’t know what when will finish. Said they had put us in their sister hotel - Koh Ma Resort - “which is more expensive” They give us no choice at that point, as we cannot cancel on the day of check-in. In Koh Ma everything was closed and only one restaurant available,which the hotel restaurant. It was so depressing... nothing to do at all. "

"I normally live in China. I happened to be in Europe when i was planning my stay here. My wife in Shanghai. Within a few days of booking the hotel the corona virus problem hit. "The rooms were in terrible condition. Stains & holes in the bedding & towels, marks all over the walls and drapes. The toilette was so stained brown that it looked like it had never been cleaned. All the furniture was chipped and in poor condition. They did not clean our room once in 3 nights. When they did pop by they left towels and toilet paper outside the door. "Loved the villa ,breakfast chaotic lowlife of foods and areas dirty and unkempt.Tiles in pool were broken and general and areas not maintained including standing areas for pool showers .Nothing is jet cleaned around pool .Pool is however large and we loved it .The area in front of the bar is filthy ,weeds and nobody clears tables or empties rubbish .The area where the egg station is has upturned old furniture and things just stacked there and again dirty floors .The housekeeping staff were lovely but restaurant staff lazy and no signs of Happy Hours or promotions .This place has no visible management which is ridiculous it needs to be lived and could be great with care and attention .There is no beach in front you have to walk around the corner and that’s nice there.I have read a lot of previous comments and it does not look like any attention is paid as nothing improved and that’s careless ."
