Lovely stay!

We had an absolutely lovely stay! The view from the room, balcony and even bathroom was breathtaking! The staff were all super friendly and helpful with everything, including transportation during and after our stay. Great massage crew and view, and excellent breakfast buffet! Also the beach was amazing and the restos closeby fantastic! Afternoon and evening.. dinner on the beach was so nice! Overall was a perfect stay! (The only thing I’d point out is that it’s not very accesible for people with mobility disabilities).

Удачный вариант, стоит своей цены

Уютный отель, сказочная тишина (если рядом нет маленьких детей - их слышно очень хорошо и далеко). Номера - бунгало на склоне холма с выходом к морю, просторные, с балконом, на котором есть удобные кресла, софа и настоящий гамак, с видом на бухту (море). Завтрак вкусный, Кухня хорошая. Цены более чем приемлемые. Вернёмся ещё и на более долгий срок. Из минусов - парковка для автомобилей на холме (крутой спуск и соответственно подъем пешком). Будьте внимательны - к бунгало съезд только на мотобайках, машину парковать на вершине холма!!! (Мы по незнанию спустились - еле выбрались, благо были на мощном внедорожнике). Номера чистые, Горячая вода, огромная кровать (можно на кровати вчетвером разместиться комфортно). Персонал приветлив, адекватен - всегда готовы помочь. В отличие от многих Отелей Пангана - принимают к оплате карты (как за услуги отеля, так и за другие услуги, приобретаемые через ресепшн).

Ekelhaft!

Es begann mit der Anreise. Keine ausreichende Beschilderung zum Hotel bzw. zur Rezeption. Auf unserem Weg den steilen Weg zu dem, wo wir dachten, wo die Rezeption sei, wurden wir von einigen netten Männern angesprochen, die Palmen schnitten. Einer nahm uns das Gepäck ab und führte uns kurz vor das Zimmer (Türen standen weit auf- Moskitos juhu!) und dann weiter zur Rezeption. Soweit so nett. Dann gings los. Für thailändische Verhältnisse wurden wir eher ungenügend über das Resort unterrichtet (wo z.B. die Schließfächer stehen. Antwort: In der Küche). Als wir nach einem netten Restaurant / street food in der Nähe fragten, kamen keine Tipps. Es wurde lediglich auf einen Supermarkt around the corner verwiesen, den wir nie gefunden haben. Nun gut. Auf Koh Phangan findet man sich zurecht. Ca. 2km Fußmarsch über die hügelige Straße ist ein kleiner Ort, wo man gutes Essen findet. +++ Danach kam für uns persönlich der Kracher +++ FLECKIGE Betten (gelbliche Flecken und Blutflecken, auch unter den Bezügen, die waren einfach hinüber), ÜBEL RIECHENDE Handtücher und ein kaputtes Rohr unterm Waschbeken, dass das Zimmer nach KATZENPIPI riechen ließ. Selbst für thailändische Verhältnisse war das eklig. Der Gecko im löchrigen Moskitonetz war irgendwie noch niedlich und die Käfer im Bad auch kein Problem. Thailand eben. Wir gaben kurz Bescheid und sofort kamen wieder zwei Männer, die uns bereitwillig halfen. Problem dabei: Es wurde ein weiteres mit kleinen Blutflecken schmutziges Bettlaken a

Buen hotel pero no hay nada para hacer por la zona

El hotel esta muy bien y la gente muy agradable pero la zona es muy tranquila, no hay nada para hacer por la noche. Si buscas relajarte totalmente es tu lugar, pero si quieres algo de ambiente no. El wifi no funciona muy bien, se corta bastante. La playa increible!!! Es muy bonita

Heerlijk resort. Wij hadden een prima kamer met balkon in hoofdgebouw. Veel leuke huisjes. Enige nadeel waren de vele trappetjes naar zwembad / restaurant of strand. Maar wel alles met prachtig uitzicht op een fantastische baai. Erg vriendelijk personeel.

Good position but...

The hotel is on the beach , beatiful to see the beach from our room but the position is the best skill the hotel has. My room.was nice but at 6.00 a.m. I had to wake up because there were no dark panels , I could ear everything from neighbour room , every night it rained hard and I had water in my room everyday , even the bathroom was always wet . The reception woman is nice and a couple of bar staff too but nobody else. Everything could be better !!!!!!!

Joli hôtel et superbe point de vue. très familial. Piscine appréciée des enfants. Mer magnifique. Chambres fonctionnelles mais dans le bâtiment il faut passer devant le balcon des autres. Aussi pente très raide pour accéder aux chambres mais on s'habitue. Buffet pdj sympa. Attention quand même si vous voulez bouger sur l'ile il faudra louer un véhicule car la baie est un peu isolée et taxis chers....

This hotel is a hidden gem.

Located directly on a secluded beach - Salad - with a string of accompanying restaurants/bars. The atmosphere was relaxed and ensured a peaceful stay. The rooms are located on the hillside which offers lovely views. The rooms themselves are modern and spacious and really clean. The breakfast offered plenty of options, the pancakes were particularly good. Happy hour at the hotel restaurant was a bonus too.

An sich eine tolle Anlage in top Lage mit super Ausblick. Nicht soo leicht zu erreichen, teilweise sehr steile Hänge. Kein Minuspunkt, allerdings nicht für Leute, die nicht so gut auf den Beinen sind. Als großes Minus für uns zu werten, war der Schimmel an der Decke im Badezimmer und der dadurch entstandene modrige Geruch.

Zimmer im grossen Gebäude schrecklich

Wir hatten 3 Nächte im Cookies gebucht und wurden ins Zimmer 103 gebracht, also eines im grösseren Zimmerkomplex und nicht ein einzelnes Bungalow. Der Weg ist, wie hier schon oft erwähnt, ziemlich steil. Privatsphäre in diesem Komplex gleich null da der Weg zu den einzelnen Zimmern über den Balkon der anderen führt. Das Zimmer selbst dann für unseren Geschmack in einem schrecklichen Zustand: Riecht "modrig", grosse schwarze Flecken auf Bettdecke sowie Vorhängen, Bad nahezu ohne Licht und offen, Bett steinhart. Zudem lässt sich die Türe des Zimmers nicht ganz schliessen, so bleibt immer ein 3cm Spalt offen. Da auf Anfrage keines der (wohl) schöneren Bungalows frei waren, sind wir noch vor der 1. Nacht ins Salad Hut Resort "geflüchtet". Ein Entscheid den wir keine Sekunde bereut haben...

Charmant super accueil et excellent rapport qualit

Le personnel est juste exceptionnel. La configuratkon insolite avec ses différents niveaux, ses escaliers qui se croisent, ses multiples bungalows disseminés entre les arbres et son petit restaurant péché, rendent le lieu charmant pour un prix très intéressant.

Relaxing stay with some points for improvement

First of all, I must say I had a great week staying at Cookies resort. The best part of it was the location. The resort is amazingly locationed, at the end of Haad Salaad beach, so my room was overlooking the ocean. The atmosphere at the resort is laid back and relaxed, and the pool and the beach are also really beautiful. I also wish to give compliments to the bar\restaurant, serving really nice breakfast and dinner. I spent a lot of the time at the restaurant, reading books and enjoying the view. The staff were really helpful and kind and remembered what I like. Nevertheless, some things did bother me during my stay: * The balcony door didn't close hermetically, leaving space for a few bugs to sneak into the room (the mosquito net over the bed was useful) * The water pressure in the shower was ridiculously low. * The sink tap is one of those push button taps that stop automatically (like in a public restroom), which is really annoying. * If you want your room cleaned, you need to bring your key back to reception, which was annoying. Most days, I just forgot about it - so my room wasn't cleaned. * My room was located near a small parking lot, where vehicles were coming and going even in the middle of the night. Still, I would (and probably will) come back here, but I would ask for a room with a better shower :)

Away from the caos of the full moon parties.

The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay, the room we stayed in was great and conveniently close to the restaurant for breakfast. If you don't want to walk up a steep hill everyday ask for a room closer to the beach. The restaurant food was average with a diverse menu for differing tast but a local restaurant called Ling Lings was within a short walk if we were in the mood for traditional Thai food
