"Such a beautiful small accommodation on Koh Lanta! Friendly host family, clean and cozy property, comfy mattresses. Location is just a few minutes away from the main road, so it's quiet and everything is within walking distance if you don't want to ride a scooter. But you should rent one for exploring the island. Can highly recommend to stay at Painon Resort!"

"Good location and cool vibe for accommodation. The bathtub on the balcony was a nice touch, though the water didn’t quite get hot enough. The bed was comfy and room cleaned well by the staff, they kept in touch via WhatsApp for any support / local recommendations / transport arrangements. The view from the pool/restaurant is incredible and worth heading up for. "The pool-area, views and terrace was beautiful. Very calm and serene. Breakfast was really good aswell, but there was a few things that could have made the experience 10/10 instead. Several small things such as no parasol at the pool that seems to be easily fixed was not possible. You must also rent a scooter as there is no restaurant available for lunch or dinner, and it is located a bit off so it was a bit scary to walk in the dark and with traffic."
