"Apple House has it's own carpark behind the building. It is also perfectly located to walk into York through Micklegate Bar. Takes about 10 minutes. Just be aware that there is no lift if you overpacked like I did ! Great hosts and lovely breakfast. I would definitely stay here again"

"We love this place. It has charging for our electric vehicle which suits us nicely. The staff are exceedingly helpful; the rooms well appointed with lovely soft pillows and very clean bathrooms. We had a room with a separate lounge this time which was a treat. The restaurant is also very special and the breakfast delicious. The property is near the road so there is some traffic noise but this wasn’t significant enough to worry about, Ripon is an interesting place to walk around too so don’t miss...

"The noise was horrendous from outside at 5 o’clock in the morning. Market traders were putting up their stores. All night long banging and shouting Bed was so hard didn’t get any sleep at all. Think it’s the worst day I’ve had unfortunately I won’t be going back or recommending."

"Good stay - if the car park is full, space can be found on nearby side streets. Nice comfortable room and good breakfast served with flexible times. Just be aware they host a lot of live music, and it isn't a big building so expect to head down and join the crowd!"
