It’s a shame that they allow smoking in the rooms because we are non-smokers and smoke particles cannot be completely eradicated from the room even with a room humidifier and spray fragrance. "Great stay at Hotel Takimoto. Had the all inclusive package which included all food, alcohol and snacks. Snacks/soft drinks/beer were available all day. Food was great, varied and presented well in a nice dining setting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ski/snowboard hire included too. Ski boots and skis were of good quality and newish, however snowboards were not good. Lovely hotel with big fireplace and marshmallows to roast. Great place to relax after a day skiing. We had a family 5 bedroom room which had 2 separate rooms (2 single beds plus 3 tatami mats in another room). Location at Takamagahara was excellent - central to all the ski areas. After some initial issues with our booking, hotel Takimoto came good and we can happily say we had a fabulous stay and can recommend"
