The rooms were clean and the establishment was lovely. Although we found the bed a little uncomfortable, the night we spent there was convenient. The perks of with was the breakfast; a great buffet was at our disposition, and we had a lot of options.
Night staff at front desk was welcoming and helpful, room was clean and easily accessible

Place was a great location and loved the layout and aesthetics of the hotel. A few issues with our room/hallway itself- room wasn't cleaned too well as we found a empty fifth of whiskey under one bed, bathroom light was out which the rooms light didn't offer much, the exterior doors being secured each night was a hit or miss, and seemed to have deferred maintenance from water damage on the hallway from the our bathroom.
The grounds as you approach are kept immaculate and on entering the reception area is large and inviting. Staff were wonderful and friendly and helpful and we had no problem parking. Our room was a good size but needed a little TLC. but not enough to put us off

Although other reviews of the property were not great, I am being more generous because our room had very comfortable twin beds with clean, crisp new linens. Our bathroom had been recently renovated and was very nice. The front desk staff, a lovely young lady from Australia, was very pleasant and efficient. The only thing I'd suggest the management do to improve the room, is to fix the broken window blind.
When I searched for Hotels in Avimore this came up at the top of the search. I really should have researched it more. The hotel is about a 19 minute drive from Avimore. Be aware of this if your intentions is to stay in Avimore.
The hotel itself is okay, but its very dated. Strong smell of dampness in the hall. No central heating, electric heating only takes a long time to heat up the room. Electric showers too with limescale on it.
Okay for a budget night away but it was not for me.
The little town near the hotel has a small selection of local shops, bars and restaurants. Pre book restaurants to avoid disappointment.
Very helpful and friendly staff, excellent buffet breakfast, great off road parking, will definitely stay again.

Clean room with good bed and opening window. Heating to use if necessary.
Bathroom very poor, cracked sink, toilet seat falling off. Shower over bsth . Had requested shower not bath as disabled but was expected to climb into bath.
Dirty towel left in bathroom.
Lovely traditional hotel. Good breakfast. The bed was really comfy and the linens and towels nice. Room was nice and clean. The points which let it down were
The shower was had no power. The curtaien round the bath was a small square one which stuck to you once wet. A larger person would not be able to use it. The toilet roll holder was missing off the wall and a piece of metal was left there. It is practically impossible to stop water exiting such a small space so toilet rolls on back of toilet did get wet. There is quite a large step from bathroom to bedroom so need to be careful in the night when going to loo. It's a shame these minor things let it down as it really is a lovely hotel and the staff wete very nice.
It was a strange smell between our room and the restaurant area where we had to pass through our bags! The staff are fairly helpful. The location was lovely, but unfortunately the shower in our room didn’t work very well.
