"Convenient, quiet location for a pre-cruise overnight stay. Transportation was readily avaliable and the front desk staff were very helpful to arrange. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel. Breakfast was included in my room selection and it was delicious and plentiful. You cannot go wrong by including it. We enjoyed our stay in Portsmouth!"
"It was the mansion was amazing place to stay and we also had a little area to walk to that had a bar a store and a few other places.
I cannot say enough about the staff the gentleman that seemed to be over the dining room, and the bar was absolutely amazing. The ladies at the lobby desk, where the friendliest and tried every way to accommodate us with our stay.. amazing place and an amazing!!"

"This was a great value Hotel and we will have no hesitation in booking again. Nothing elaborate and in a fairly old building, this hotel offered everything you will need. The stairs to our room at the top were steep but the bed was comfortable, the shower hot and the towels large and fluffy. Tea and coffee with a kettle were in the room. "Really lovely stay at the hotel. Family of 5, with 3 children 5 and under and we felt very welcome. Perfect for a visit to Peppa Pig only 10 mins away.
The staff were great. Really welcoming and no issue with the noise that children bring.
Dinner was lovely. Although pub grub it was really tasty.
Family room was very big. Although a little tired looking was absolutely fine for our stay.
Would definitly recommend and would stay again.
Only downside. The outside area would really benefit...
"Stayed here prior to our cruise sailing. Walkable to terminal. We were so impressed. Lovely boutique and each room is unique and the attention to detail was superb. Delightful true Southampton feel with high end quality touches. We saw our ship from our window! The bar downstairs was cozy and dinner at the restaurant was a delicious finishing touch to our stay.
