Kauai Shores Hotel

"My mom (71) and I (44) had a great stay at Kauai Shores Hotel. What stood out most was the staff. Every person we interacted with was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. We chose not to rent a car, and the location made that possible. We were able to walk to Coconut Marketplace, restaurants, coffee shops, and easily access The Kauai Bus to explore other parts of the island. For travelers who do not want the expense or hassle of a rental car, this hotel is a great option. We also enjoyed having Lava Lava Beach Club right on the property. The food was consistently good, and it was hard to beat the ocean views. The grounds are exceptionally well maintained. The gardens, landscaping, pools, and beach area were always clean and beautiful. I especially appreciated being able to walk along the shoreline each morning and enjoy the scenery right outside the hotel. Kauai Shores offered the balance we were looking for—comfortable accommodations, a convenient location, beautiful outdoor spaces, and a staff that truly cares about guests. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to return soon."

Hilton Garden Inn Kauai Wailua Bay, HI

"Negatives: I was expecting the resort fee but I was not told anything about the parking fee prior to or during my booking. The fee was hefty. The room was clean but still seems moldy and damp. There was no air condenser or any way to let fresh air into the room. You could smell and see the mold in different places in the bathroom and the windows railings. The windows don't open. Also the view from my room was nothing to talk about. Also the fire alarm in the hotel came on after midnight which caused us to wake up in panic. Positives: I really like the location of the hotel. It is only a five-minute drive to Costco, walmart, and some really good restaurants. The staff were very friendly. The beach was so close that we just walked two minutes and find ourselves on the beach."

"location, so conveniently close to the airport! view of the pool and beach with mountains in the back drop is wonderful. staff is all very friendly, resort grounds are well kept and enjoyably walkable. AC in the room is great, bed was comfy. would stay again!"

"We stayed in a 3 bedroom villa and our stay was amazing. Our villa was beautiful. The washer/dryer wasn’t efficient but the fact there was a unit in our villa was a plus. The property is walking distance to the beaches. The pools are amazing. Our stay was everything we hoped for."

"room clean staff very helpful. Love having the kitchen and washer dryer. pools hot tubs etc so nice. Only issue is nene poops but staff does work to control it. beautiful location. although you must drive to beaches. It is nice having their market to get essentials and small food items. Restaurant is expensive and sub par. Good places to eat in near by areas and in Hanalei Bay. Also the property has well maintained as far as clean.. BBQs outside to use. Great for dinners. We stay here for kitchen and BBQ access pools for morning swim and lovely property."
